Kansas City DSA Slack User Agreement
Slack is the primary way that we communicate day-to-day as a chapter. You’ll be able to stay informed for upcoming chapter events, chat with KC DSA members, and generally talk about life. To be consistent with our values as socialists, we ensure that our Slack workspace is welcoming and inclusive. We have zero tolerance for any bigotry or abuse. We also have an obligation to keep our members safe. To join our Slack workspace, you must agree to a prepared a user agreement.
This user agreement will act as a binding document entailing that you have read and understand the document and agree to abide by its rules. If there’s confusion about the agreement, reach out to the KC DSA for clarification here: contact@kcdsa.org.
Failure to uphold the rules of the KCDSA Slack workspace, as detailed here and the Slack User Guide, may result in administrative and/or disciplinary action mediated by a Grievance Officer, termination of access to the KC DSA Slack workspace, termination of DSA membership, or formal legal charges being filed, depending on the severity, number, and frequency of offenses. Types of offenses and their consequences may be found in the Slack User Guide.
General Rules
- The ability to access the KC DSA Slack workspace is both limited and revocable.
