KC Ice Free: Brake Light Clinic

In KC, where driving with a broken brake light is illegal and there are over 215 police officers per 100,000 residents, keeping each other safe can look like making sure the cars we’re driving won’t lead to a police stop. A brake light ticket in Kansas City is a traffic violation, often resulting in expensive fines and penalties. Our KCDSA mutual aid committee is hosting a series of ongoing clinics to repair our neighbors brake lights for FREE with the help of our members and community partners. We can do big things together where alone we might fail, and our brake light clinic is a great opportunity to come get some solidarity in action!
