An absolutely amazing success for our first brake light clinic! We helped a lot of neighbors today and built solidarity with neighbors–some in English, some in Espanol. We plan to have an even larger turnout for the next event planned for May.
We raised $11,000 for AIRR last night (and still counting!) at Mi Casa Su Casa. In addition, merch sales will go to the campaign. We will be able to not only fund our brake light clinic but also provide groceries/supplies for local pantries!
In one day, canvassers reached 30 businesses in the Northeast that had not before been in contact with defense organizing. We were also able to give materials to the landlord of a multi-tenant business location in addition to the tenants of the building itself.
